Administrative Assistant
Pauline came to Walsh, Kelliher & Sharp in 2001 after working for the News-Miner for 25 years. She brings excellent customer service skills along with a friendly attitude. Her additional duties include Administrative support to the entire staff. In her spare time she enjoys, fishing, trap shooting and spending time with her husband & black lab flying around Alaska. During the week she enjoys working for the best accounting firm in town.

Malia has been an administrative assistant with Walsh, Kelliher & Sharp since September 2007. She is responsible for answering the phones, managing the staff's varied schedules, electronic filing of tax returns, compiling of tax returns and financial statements and managing all of the current projects. She keeps the firm running smoothly and we couldn't do our job so well without her. She also keeps the office plants living. In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading and playing outside with her two sons.

Ami, a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, has worked for Walsh, Kelliher & Sharp since February 2001. She attained her CPA license in 2004. She is also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She enjoys working on individual and corporate tax returns, as well as trust and estate accounting/tax returns. Outside of work, she has four kids, one cat and a husband who keep her very busy.

Amy is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in Accounting and French and a graduate of the University of Washington with a Master's Degree in Taxation. She has worked for Walsh, Kelliher and Sharp for almost 4 years (she left to go to Anchorage but came back to the firm in July of 2006 when she and her husband moved back to Fairbanks). She attained her CPA license in 2005. Amy spends her time at the firm working on individual, corporate and partnership returns, as well as not-for-profit tax returns. She and her husband spend their free time traveling, kayaking and hiking as well as taking care of their two "kids" - their cat and dog.

William, currently an intern with Walsh, Kelliher & Sharp, has been working with the firm since May 2008. He currently works on corporate and individual tax returns as well as monthly accounting service work. He will graduate with a B.S. in Business Administration with the accounting option from MontanaStateUniversity in December 2008. In the following Spring term he will enter the MPAc Program at MSU and begin preparation for the CPA exam. Outside of work he enjoys biking, movies and the outdoors.

Ryan, a native of Chicago, has been an intern at Walsh, Kelliher & Sharp since early spring of 2008. He has performed accounting service work and prepared individual and corporate tax returns. He will be graduating from UAF in December with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting. Afterwards, he plans on continuing the exciting journey towards becoming a Certified Public Accountant. In his free time, he enjoys exploring many of the local hiking trails.

Sarah is a graduate of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She has worked for Walsh, Kelliher and Sharp since May 2008 and spends her time doing monthly accounting service work and financial statement compilation. Currently she is preparing to take the CPA examination. Outside of work, Sarah and her husband enjoy running and biking in the summer, cross country skiing in the winter, and catering to the whims of their two cats year-round.
